The details below contain very important last minute information which you should print out and use as
a checklist and reference for the conference.


From Heathrow Airport (LHR):
Hotel Hoppa Bus (£4.50 each way)

There is a Hotel Hoppa bus service that runs between the different Heathrow Airport Terminals to the Renaissance Hotel. Please check the below website for bus numbers, times and pick up location for your arrival terminal.

There is no Hotel Hoppa bus service to the Renaissance Hotel from Terminal 4. If you arrive at Terminal 4 you can take
the free London Underground Tube train service to Terminals 2 & 3 to catch the Hoppa bus.

The hotel is located on the airport perimeter road very near Terminals 2 & 3 at Heathrow Airport.

By Taxi

Follow the signs to a Taxi Stand. The official airport black cab taxi fare is £20-£30, depending on traffic, terminal etc. The trip is approximately 5 minutes from Terminals 2 & 3 and around 15 minutes from Terminals 4 & 5, however this can depend on traffic conditions around the airport.

By Uber

You can call an Uber once you are outside your arrival terminal, however Uber do not have authority to collect passengers at arrival terminals. They have selected meeting points in the arrival terminal car parks and depending on your terminal you can find further information on the Uber link below:
From Gatwick Airport (LGW):

The easiest way is by taxi. The trip takes 45-60 minutes depending on the traffic. The average taxi fare for a licenced taxi from Gatwick is approximately £100, or if you prebook a licenced airport transfer private car service the cost is approximately £85.

There is also a National Express bus transfer service, price range from £12-£30 each way. This will bring you into the Heathrow Airport terminals where you can catch the Hotel Hoppa bus service as mentioned above. You can purchase

Airport transfers are NOT provided!


ALL delegates must do onsite registration in order to pick up conference bags, name badges, and other materials. Onsite registration can be done according to the following schedule:

We recommend that you do this upon arrival in order to avoid the rush that normally happens just before
the cocktail reception starts.  You would also be doing staff a big favor and allow us to better serve you! 


Existing users must un-install and re-download to update their current version.

New users can search “WCA Events” in the Apps Store and Play Store or scan one of the below QR Codes.

  1. Please wear your badge at all times. Badges are essential - you will NOT be admitted to ANY function areas without it. Please also do not lose your badge because a replacement will only be issued on production of a passport or government ID card.  A business card or other forms of ID will not be accepted.

  2. Always carry a sufficient supply of business cards so that you won’t have to run up to your room to get new ones. We do not have facilities to print new business cards for you.

Please ensure that your company has settled all pending payments for registration, hotel reservations and other items otherwise your accommodation arrangements may not be guaranteed and you will not be able to pick up your conference badge.
