DESERT SAFARI TOUR

08:30 Meet inside Convention Center Entrance of Dubai World Trade Centre.  All tour registered delegates to sign the tour registry and put on a wristband before they can board vehicles. Note that all delegates must pre-register and pay for the tour BEFORE the conference starts
09:00 Depart from Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) and drive to a desert meeting point
10:00 Start the desert dune drive in a convoy of 4x4 vehicles for an exciting off-road adventure to the deserts of Dubai.
11:00 Reach the camp and enjoy the camp activities. Experience a brief camel ride, try sand boarding, and get up close and personal with the UAE’s national bird, the majestic falcon for a photo then get yourself a henna tattoo and relax with a shisha water-pipe.
12:00 International buffet lunch in the desert safari campsite, whet your appetite with a Shawarma or popular local snacks.
12:45 Tea, coffee, Arabic sweets and cut fruits.
13:15 Exclusive Live shows, Belly Dance show, and Tanura traditional folk dance.
13:45 Departure from campsite
14:45 Arrive back at World Trade Center

DISCLAIMERS:

  • No Walk-ins for tours. Space is very limited for safety reasons.
  • Please do NOT register for this tour if you are pregnant, have heart ailments, or back or neck problems.  This tour includes rides on stretches of rugged roads and trails.
  • Latecomers will forfeit their right to join the tour and will not have their tour fees refunded. This is done out of consideration for those who are on time for the tour and those who may not be able to book for the tour due to it being fully booked.
  • All delegates must make their own way to/from the meeting point (Dubai World Trade Center - Convention Center Entrance)

DRESS CODE:
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year. Good quality sunglasses are advised and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight.

The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear must be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops/malls and villages.
